Social Quizzes

We facilitate the monthly Squizzed and Hot 100 individual quizzes in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Perth and Melbourne. Please check our Facebook Events page for details. The cost is $5 per person, though free for first timers. Anyone interested in hosting these quizzes in their location should email us.

Online Events

Quiz Nations Global (incorporating the Champions League) is a worldwide online team quiz that commences each February and attracts some of the world's best players.

Domestic Events 2025

ACT, Qld and Vic Quiz Championships, Saturday 22nd March: Canberra (2:00 to 5:00 pm, Lyneham); Brisbane (2:00 to 5:00 pm, Milton); and Melbourne, (11:00 am to 2:00 pm, City Library CBD). The cost is $25 pp. Register HERE
4th National Quiz Day, Saturday, 18 October in Brisbane
NSW, SA and WA Quiz Championships, Saturday, 22 November in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth

Membership

QA offers three levels of membership:

GOLD - all QA state and national quizzes, the IQA WQC, 12 x Hot 100 and 12 x Squizzed ($200)
SILVER - 12 x Hot 100 and 12 x Squizzed ($100)
BRONZE - 12 x Hot 100 or 12 x Squizzed ($50)

Memberships commence each January and are valid for one calendar year. They are available to Australian citizens / residents only.

2024 Queensland Quiz Championships - Individual Quiz, Media and Answers. The average score was 63.2/100 and the top score was 77/100.
2023 NSW Quiz Championships - Teams Quiz, Media and Answers. The average Team score was 70.3/100 and the top score was 81/100.
Additional past quizzes (including media and answers) can be purchased for AU$5 each.

Charter

Quizzing Australia is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 2011 for "serious" quizzers seeking an alternative to pub trivia-style events. We are the peak quizzing organisation in Australia and a member of the International Quizzing Association. Our key goals are:

To promote quizzing throughout Australia
To foster quizzing as a competitive activity
To hold annual national and state quiz championships
To facilitate Australians' participation in the World Quiz Championships, Quiz Olympiad and Asia-Pacific Quiz Championships
To foster links with other quizzing associations
To encourage lifelong learning
