Registrations are now open for the V Australian National Quiz Day, to be held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm AEDT on Saturday 17th October in Melbourne. Venue: The Doutta Galla Hotel in Kensington. Cost & Format: $95 per person for a full day of quizzing (including the Australian Pairs and Teams Championships), plus morning tea and lunch. The event fee is $50 for QA Gold and QA Green members (to cover catering). REGISTER HERE

Social Quizzes

We facilitate the monthly Squizzed and Hot 100 individual quizzes in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Perth and Melbourne. Please check our Facebook Events page for details. The cost is $5 per person, though free for first timers. Anyone interested in hosting these quizzes in their location should email us.

Online Events

Quiz Nations Global (incorporating the Champions League) is a worldwide online team quiz that commences each February and attracts some of the world's best players.

Connections Online Quiz League

Australia now has its own version of the COQL. We have 2-3 seasons per year, more details can be found at https://quizcentral.net/coqlaus/.

International Events 2025-26

17 October - National Quiz Day (Melbourne).

These events are not run by QA but we facilitate participation by Australians and select Australian representative teams:

International Quizzing Championships - 30 Oct - 1 Nov, Sarajevo
SporcleCon, 13-15 November, Chicago
XII Asia-Pacific Quiz Championships, 28-29 November, Da Nang, Vietnam

Membership

QA offers four levels of membership:

GOLD - All three major domestic events, the IQA and OQL World Championships, 11 x Hot 100 and 12 x Squizzed, plus bonus quizzes ($200)
SILVER - 11 x Hot 100 and 12 x Squizzed ($100)
BRONZE - 11 x Hot 100 or 12 x Squizzed ($50)
GREEN - All three major domestic events, plus the IQA and OQL World Championships ($95)

Memberships commence each January and are valid for one calendar year. They are available to Australian citizens / residents only. Members can purchase only one level per year.
